What a bunch of Muppets stupid people arguing amongst yourselves. You say one bad thing and it erupts into riots.

Well lets start a war in a new forum, in the past you have talked about qualifications that don't hold water like the A+ and MACE qualification, where they rip you off in order for you to feel better about yourselves.

1) How many of you have degrees or masters?

2) How many of you are a part of a computer society (not youth club) where you regularly attend meetings.

I have a better idea, lets see if anyone here has a problem with newbies and techs who have no clue asking for help in these forums who:

Insult the techs who tried to help them? i.e. it took 5-6 different techs to offer a few different options and then when the problem is fixed, the person who received the help calls the other techs rude or profane names and then says that the techs offering free advice are amateurs.

Make duplicate posts in every forum?

my opinion is, if you do not like the help you are getting for free, go away. We certainly cannot offer you a refund.

Calling the experienced techs on this board names (as you have in other posts), just because you were either too lazy to figure out you problem yourself, or too uneducated to begin to understand the problem does not give you permission to act like a 5 year old.

there is a site that my 12 and 14 year old go to at http://sissyfight.com/ they use that site to insult others, that is an appropriate site for you to whine and complain, windrivers is not.

You went to college for computers??? LOL what a waste of time and money.... Most college grads I had hired in the past didn't even know what DOS was... so we do not hire college kids anymore.

yes, I have a little under a dozen certifications which really doesn't mean anything... experience is the key... i got all of those by taking just the test after almost 20 years of experience..... just as anyone else here with experience could do without taking the overpriced classes.

ummm... you should take an A+ exam... i think they have some questions in there about how to act/behave (albeit it's meant for customer interaction, but you could apply it to other situations as well).

I don't HOLD ONE certification and probably never will as I cannot afford it.

Who says certification is needed? Hands on experience is a lot better than a bit of paper , apart from when you need to wipe your *** or blow your nose.

Good idea. He just wanted to stir things up, and that he did.

He got some good advice, and some that didn't help and he felt he needed to blast the people who didn't give him the answer he was looking for!

Flaming him now is just going to turn this into a big waste of a thread. I'm with Eagle's idea of just mentally adding him to your own personal ignore list.

I probably didn't help the situation by feeding posts back to him.... but man... he just got to me.... couldn't hold back from trying to make him understand that he was being rude....

i love this site... and it irks me to have someone insult those of us offering to help them for free.

That guy was the ultimate...LOSER!!

But it showed how people can stick together and defend what they believe in and work hard at.

My major is CAD/Drafting, but I am diving in head first at about 200mph in computers, and haen't found a better site with better people. Everybody is willing o help, throw their two cents in and get people, who they don't really know out of jambs. That is what a TRUE techie and person is all about, not somebody with a supposed masters degree, buttplug shuved up his ***, arrogant, too good for anybody attitude.

I have to commend everybody here who contributes to this post on a daily basis, helping others just like yourselves. Great job and keep these forums rockin!!!!

Thanks to all you people who replied to my posting. Well the truth is my ISP gives me shares for every time I receive e-mails and since I could not send e-mails to myself, you have done it for me. I am now 100 shares better of thanks to you guys! If I asked nicely nobody would have done it. I guess with a good education behind me you can think up brilliant ideas.
