Problems Printing

Anybody have problems printing out of ME.
We have one computer with a printer hooked directly to it and when you try and print it says the printer is offline the printer is an HP 6PCL LaserJet I have updated the drivers and tried the printer on a windows 98 box and it works fine there any ideas

The following link says that you use the same drivers in WinME as in Win98:

I couldnt' figure out which model of LaserJet you have...anyway, go here and pick the correct model:6PCL LaserJets (?) (http://productfinder.support.hp.com/tps/ProductFinder?h_query=6PCL+LaserJet+&h_tool=software&h_lang=en)

Also, make sure that you have good cables...you might try swapping out with the Win98 machine.

I have had several ME pcs with problems with Lexmarks printers, including my own. The errors went away after I did the IE 5.5 sp1 patch altho every once in a while it shows up. I noticed that I mostly get the error when I am printing online.
