I constantly receive stack overflow errors when I open up another IE window now that I'm using winME. It didn't do it in 98...I've got a athlon750, 128MB ram, WinMe. Any advice?

Had the same problem. Instead of going back to Windows 98, go to the Microsoft website, and get the latest patches. I believe that there's a service pack for IE. Problem should clear up. http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm1.gif

I have the same problem upgrading win98 for winme, and I never try to use Win Me again: ( its heavy, some cards dont work right etc... ) If you want a system with no bugs in general try windows 2000

But can Windows 2000 play ALL games, without a performance hit?

As far as I know as long as the game supports Direct X you shouldn't have a problem running games under Windows 2k. I am looking into buying Win2k myself. ME sucks horribly.

Be careful about tribes. There's been a LOT of talk over at the tribes troubleshooting forum about ppl who can't get tribes to open. (goto www.tribesplayers.com (http://www.tribesplayers.com) and find a link, I can't find the specific page right now.)
