Hi, I've a PIII 750E Slot1 installed on a MB Pc Partner with Via Apollo Pro+ chipset on board.When I try to restart my system, a blue screen is displayed with the following statement:

Impossible to restart the system.Shut down the system and restart the system after few seconds.

When I try to shut down the system, It doesn't shut down automatically and tell me
to power-off it as if I have an AT system but I have an ATX!!!!!!

Help me!!!

Have you tried installing a different operating system?

I have tried to install Win98 SE but I 've experienced problems with this OS too!

Maybe you have to change some settings in your BIOS?

Enable APM support (and ACPI) in the BIOS, and your system should then shut down Properly
Have you installed the windows shutdown patch?
Try running scan disk, sometimes that works. also try doing ctrl-alt-delete and shut down a different program each time before you shut down your computer. it may take awhile but you should find the program with issues.
