Drivers for Scanner in ME

Trying to set up HP scanjet 6200c. Went to HP for download for ME but when I try to execute setup I get an error message and can not load the new driver. I have shut down everything except Explorer and systray then tried to install. No Luck. the 6200C is USB/Scsi. :confused:

how are you connecting it ?

USB or SCSI ?

if you are using USB and you have a VIA chipset you need to install the USB fuilter drivers from: http://www.viahardware.com

also a nice trick to try is to disconnect it (if it's usb) from the computer, boot to ME and then connect it..

winMe should detect it ..

then you need to retry to install the driver ..

make sure you d/l the right one ...
