Booting Windows ME in Safe Mode

Could anyone clue me in as to how to Boot Windows ME into safe mode? Everything at Microsoft's site which would point me in the right direction is not up for some odd reason and its really ticking me off. Thanks

Right before the computer clears the BIOS screen hit F8 and choose Safe Mode. It is good to keep continuously pressing it during BIOS.

use msconfig and click on the advanced button on the general tab and selet enable startup menu and when you restart the computer the safe mode option is listed.

or just restart and hold down the control key until a menu appears... and select safe mode (i think it's the second from three options!)
