Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : How many versions of Windows ME ARE there? JungleMan1 May 10th, 2001, 07:14 PM The description of this forum says "Get help on all versions of Windows ME!". Remember how ME was supposed to be a combo between 9.x and 2000 just like XP is now supposed to be but judging from ME's track record... I can't wait to see how it is. I've heard good and bad news about it...about 5 people said it sucked, 1 person said it ruled...what's the story here.. GirlGeek May 15th, 2001, 11:14 PM *snip*(NOW A MASTER TECH hahahaha All the more reason to change the rating system based on quality not quantity. SB May 15th, 2001, 11:54 PM In this case I totally agree GirlGeek Darren Wilson May 16th, 2001, 01:34 AM Originally posted by Insane Monkey: I can't wait to see how it is. Obvious isn't it??????? scout970 May 16th, 2001, 01:40 AM you know (directed at the supposedly master tech who started this thread) i could go around posting stupid **** and rack up a high post count but why would i want to make myself look that friggin stupid i am a professional and try to behave that way condor May 16th, 2001, 01:51 AM Originally posted by Insane Monkey: (NOW A MASTER TECH hahahaha), Now this is really too much. Listen and listen well I know very well that you are not the "most popular" guy in the forums and the chat room. Up until now I've seen you make a total *** of yourself with stupid posts, posts that are just to piss off some one else etc, but I didn't give a damn. It's actually people like you that degrade this board from a professional level to "the Springer show". The only TRUE way to see if someone is worth the "*" is to search for previous posts. Amazingly enough, you'll find that almost everyone with more than 3 stars has contributed and helped many other people with problems. These forums are for 2 kinds of people - those who need help and those who offer the help, judging from your recent posts - you don't belong to any!! It's clear that you want attention and need help - but not the kind we offer in here. Another thing, bragging about tech ratings when you know full well it's all just a load of BS it even more stupid. How many people have you helped in here? Just prove me wrong - reply with "thanks" posts for problems you helped solving. I'll be the first person to admit that even though I have many certs, great credentials and a lot of experience I DON'T KNOW IT ALL. A professional is always looking to learn more. Clearly you are not a professional. I can tell you this - if you carry on this behavior you going to find yourself completely ignored or even banned from the forums and chat room. Like I said this place is for asking help or offering help - if you don't do either - just don't come! The ranking thing is just for fun. I know some people here who don't know almost anything about tech stuff ranked as Tech Gods and things like that. On the other hand, I know others who are more than just experienced techs, ranked as New Members, Tech Wannabes etc. This is for fun! I don't disagree with you, but please calm down!
