Just curious. I've been using it for a while now at home and at work, and it has worked like a charm for me. You sure can't beat the price (free), and the firewall capabilities could come in handy, too. Anybody using it? Anybody had any bad luck with it? People are always asking me to recommend something, but I'm reluctant to suggest something until I've heard feedback from a few people who know what the heck they're talking about...

I have not personally used it, but from what I hear, it's not the best app, especially on the firewall side. Take a look at this link http://grc.com/lt/scoreboard.htm

I have not heard much about that one myself either. But I have a LAN with cable modem access at my house and I run black ice defender it works well for me. Altho it flags icq msgs as attacks too http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/frown.gif

Please tell me why! (BTW, I use ZoneAlarm as my firewall, not eSafe.)

From what i've seen of esafe it's meant for people on AOL. It's over automated and under featured.
But that's just my $0.02
