Networking Question XP and ME

Hi.

I just set up a home network. I am running XP on the Host machine and ME on the other. My question is that when I click on my network places on ME and click on Entire Network, the computer freezes up and I have to ctrl-alt-del to end the network places program. Am I doing something wrong? The name of the files that I am sharing under entire network is just a printer and a folder named Microsoft. Help!

The chosen OS' could have been better.. but anyway..

what protocols are you using?.. type of cable? etc..etc..

What sort of network cards also?

That is ok i figured it out. The problem was that my xp machine was firewalled. everything is fine now.
