Does any one know how two get autorun working again it before and just stoped working ive tryed the auto insert notification in the device manger on win 98SE could any one help

Check your registry in HKEY_LOCAL Machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\ policies\explorer See if noDrivetypeAutorun is 95 00 00 00. If it is not, change it to that value.

If you're not good with the registry you can also download and install TweakUI, it has the options to enable/disable audio/data cd autorun.

Even easier is to go into device manager, double-click the CD-ROM drive, go to Settings Tab, and check Auto-Insert Notification.
