i am @@ for a creative 40X cd rom infra suite driver disk
i cant find it @ e website i tot it is supposed to be plug and play .. btw e device manager .. there is an ! on e hdd controller ..pri and sec dual why ?

IDE drives don't need a driver in 95/98/NT/2000.

You are running in MS-DOS compatibility mode. Check to see if you have proper IDE drivers installed, make sure no DOS drivers are causing compatibilty mode and make sure you are clear of viruses.

Sometimes if you click on the performance tab in system and click details for the compatibility mode, it will identify what is forcing compatibility mode.
