let's get thing right..

you want a single Hub for IEEE1394 (FireWire) and IEE802.2/3 (Ethernet) ?

I don;t think there's such a thing...

Firewire hub you cant get ...
http://www.networktechinc.com/hub-ieee.html

as for Ethernet Hub - Personnaly I would recommend a switch ..

if it's only a few computers I would go with Nortel Networks Baystack 70 Switch..
http://www.nortelnetworks.com/products/library/collateral/da3526-a-6-99.pdf

if it's larger network - I would still go with Nortel Switch, only get a managed one -

you can use Nortel advisor ..

Nor should you expect such a thing. Firewire is bieng harnessed by the video industry and I would not expect much more from the interface - hard drives, removeable storage and audio/video input/output.

It has an exceptional application for servers. Clustering shouldn't be done without it, nor NAS (Network Attached Storage for you people who don't know)
