I have a Abit BE6, P3 450. 380MB RAM. 1 IBM 40GB HD Ultra DMA 66/100, 1 Quantum 12GB Ultra DMA 66. One DvD/CD and one 1 HP Burner.
TNT2 Ultra, Win2k Pro Sp2

My problem is that my computer sometimes just goes into Blue screen with the error:
STOP: 0X0000001E (0xC0000005, 0X000000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) Mode_Exception_not_Handled

And after that I cant seem to boot up the computer afterwards, it just hangs when Windows is starting, often just after loggin in.
It might be the TNT2 that is ****ing my computer. But I cant understand why it should be so much problem with this for me?

Can someone help me with this please???

Dude ... I looked everywhere in the Microsoft site and did not find your exact problem code, therefor, it must be unique to new piece of hardware or driver you installed recently.

Think when this problem started happening, after what changes you made to your box. Then try booting up from the F8 key in Win2K, Last Known Good Configuration.

If that does not solves your Issue, then bootup using Safe Mode and take the drivers you installed last out.

Go to your hardware manufacturer for lastest driver upgrades and then visit the MS site for upgrades as well.

Thnx for your answer but I think I got the answer I needed in another of my topics.
The same problem but a little bit changed.
It is my IBM Seagate 40GB that is overheatting, I have now ordered a disk cooler, so I think my problem will soon be gone!

that may be it...but by chance is there something installed in pci slot 3?? cuz i had a BE6 board and when i put something in PCI slot 3 i got a BOD and found out it was due to the highpoint controller for UDMA66 sharing an IRQ with that slot. Just a thought. if so move it to another slot

Hmm, when I think of it. That might also be one of the things that make me get BOD. Because that is where my soundcard is. SB 1024 (or somthin simillar)

I know that some games got very very bad sometimes, and when I made the sound play in a lower and not so good sound it would go better and faster

I used to get those. they were fun. Fix #1: Find the magical "correct" order your cards want to be in (to include the "magical" driver installation order). If that doesn't work, then... Fix #2: Try putting that hard drive on UDMA33. Some drives are crap like that and that's whatcha gotta do... unless it's a bios issue. =) Have you updated yours recently?
