Name Resolution Problems

When dialing into the router from a win95/98 machine I can browse the internet fine. But when I dial into the rouer using ME or 2k i have to input the ip address of the website any suggestions on why this is happening. DNS or WINS problems maybe ?

Yes, on 2k run "ipconfig /all" from the command line and see if your dns/wins servers show up correclty. Otherwise manually add them to the IP settings in your network settings. It sounds like your 2k client is not finding the correct DHCP information.

You are not getting DNS info.
Any chance your W2k and me machines have static IP and dns adresses are not set? or they are reaching the wrong DHCP server.
