I downloaded the new driver for my Viper 770 card and now I can't play any DVD movies in my player, It says it doesnt support Macrovision. I don't kow what the heck that is,Can anyone help?

I don't kow what the heck that is,Can anyone help? techs November 7th, 2000, 02:53 PM Macrovision(may that name be spoken in anger)is a component of most dvd's and many video cassettes that discourages copying. It is encoded into the movie. It works something like this- the dvd or video player can get it to play, but when you try to copy it you get distortion. Even on playback only it slightly screws up the picture, which is why most people hate it. Movie sellers love it for obvious reasons.
