using shared items

I have four pc on home network all is working great . I want to be able to adjust and use specific items and programs like outlook on one from another. Can i adjust desktop settings from a remote pc on the network?

All have tcp/ip and netbei with proper network ip's . using the standard 192.168.xxx.xxx config

I'm not too sure I understand your problem but if you're talking about remotely controlling one of your pc's you might wanna try VNC. Its free and available for lots of platforms.
