Help,
I have a user with a laptop running win 2000 that cannot access network resources when she is dialed in from home. Everything is fine when she logs in using the NIC, but when she dials in, she can get her email but can not access anything else on the network. We are using NT servers, she is the only user running 2000 (i am not sure why), i have about 1 hour experience using 2000, so I don't know it very well at all. Any ideas?

She's dialing in using a VPN? How's she connecting to the WinNT network? If with a VPN, you may have basic PPTP incompatibilities. Since I don't know your method of connection, you might want to search the Microsoft Support Knowledge Base at http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp?fr=0&sa=gn&lng=eng http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm3.gif
