Need some help. I have a Win2k Server running on a cable connection that is using Port 80 for Webserver, and Port 21 for FTP server. I need a firewall that will work well in a server environment that doesn't cause me to pull my hair out trying to configure it. I am currently trying Tiny Personal Firewall, but I can't get my FTP Server connections to function. Please need some advise and help. Thanks,
-Damon

I'm using ISA server... Works well, just a little tricky getting the server to conenct to the net, but once configured, it will adapt to just about anything, it will also act as a proxy server and a caching server. it took me about 1/2 hour setting it all up. I have yet to have someone break through on a closed port. I leave FTP open and a few odd ones for Remote access. I'll be looking into VPN shortly..
Edit: here is a link <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/ISAServer/" target="_blank">Microsoft Internet and Security Acceleration Server</a>

Have you thought about a little router (linksys)? They're cheap and they work fairly well. Just forward your ports to your 2000 machine or put it in the dmz.
