While checking the security of my wireless network I fired up AnalogX's packet sniffer found here.
<a href="http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/pmon.htm" target="_blank">http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/pmon.htm</a>
It ran fine a couple weeks ago. Now it gives an error that says unable to open raw socket.
Also when trying to run Audiogalaxy, I get this in the log file:
Comms: Message: ***************** Socket() called. INVALID_SOCKET: -1, SOCKET_ERROR: -1
The OS is WinXP Pro. I shut down the firewall(Kerio) but the same thing. I don't have any running that might cause this and I did not find strange services running.
Can sockets be repaired? Can someone save me from reloading this thing?
