Hello, I am a Trillian user(www.trillian.cc), I am behind a netgear router, and want to be able to send and recieve files through my firewall, what port do I open? or what do I do to be able to do this?

Thanks.

they probably use the same ports as the original IM program uses itself...not sure what those ports are, so i'm of no use...

Which "part" of Trillian are you wanting to transfer files from? Can you transfer from the stand alone product (ie can you transfer from/to the AIM client). If you can, then it is most probably a problem with Trillian, rather than the router. I had trouble with an older version not wanting to transfer files, so an upgrade to the latest version might fix the errors. I did look on the Trillian forums, but I couldn't find anything that may help in this instance.
