Hi all
I have a problem with our remote users at my new job..we have 400 users who work remotely and connect via a cisco 770 through cisco secure onto the PDC at head office. Of these about 50 get the error a domain controller couldnot be found you have been logged on using cached information. I have tried the authenticate and login delay timeout changes and up'd the number of login attempt to 8 and still no joy..any ideas?

How are the int's configured?
Have you fixed IP?
What is the dial-in mashine at the server-side?
Can you give a sample-config of the 770?
Can you give a scetch of the net-setup?

Int: Never done 'sh int' on a cisco? that means show interface
As you don't know the RAS I have more questions:
Are you connecting VPNs through the internet?
If yes, have you tried to ask your ISP if your settings are correct? (perhaps some parameters aren't working fine between cisco-RAS)
And another obvious things:
Are the problems always with the same routers?
Is there ANY difference in config where problems arise?
Have these ciscos ever logged in successful?
Have you checked the cisco-secure settings and looked into FAQs if they should work fine like this?
You can easily give the setup in this forum by xxxx'ing passwords/phonenumbers and 10.1.xx.xx'ing IP-adresses (whatever your IP is)
