Give me some more details - network andd system. I can e much more helpful then. Puter Boy May 1st, 2001, 12:14 PM It is a realtek 1839 card going on a win pier to pier network i will check my BIOS thanks for your help Kymera May 1st, 2001, 01:02 PM What is it with people and these Realtek chipsets? Anyway, it's peer-to-peer as in two classmates talking to each other, not pier-to-pier which is like conversations between two harbours or marinas. Tell you what, you give me the details of your network (what protocol you're using) and I'll modify one of my existing network bootdisks to work on your network with the realtek card... another option is giving you a long explaination on how to do it yourself.. your choice. but I still need to know with what protocol you're working - and if you're using TCP/IP what address range (Ip, subnet and default gateway..)
