I own a PleXWriter 24/10/40A, and, whenever i burn 80 mins CD's filled to end (about 700Mb), i always get a buffer underrun while writing the lead-out. It never happens with 74min cd's. Before returning the drive, does anyone have a clue or a suggestion? I really would appreciate.

What burning software are you using? You should check the manufacturer's site for a software update.

MacGyver, I'm using ahead Nero 5.5.8.2.
AlienDyne, what do you mean with that? If you're saying that the cd is not 80 min, maybe, but they got a tag with 80 min explicitly, and the Medium Info reports correctly. If you're saying that my burner can't support it... impossible.

At last good news for me. It seems it was a firmware problem. Upgraded the recorder to 1.04 and everything seems fine...

BTW, I'm glad it was the firmware version.

Well, it would be very strange, because i'd tried to burn a cd from the same lot, in a friends bruner, and it burned well a 700 mb file...
