I have a Creative 52x model CD5233E Cd-ROM drive. On the rear of the drive, to the right side of the power input, is a 6 pin jumper. It has no label or identifying markings. It is currently set to the left, covering the upper and lower pins. I wish I could say 1 and 2 but since it's not marked I don't know for sure. I bought the drive white box so it has no user manual, and the creative website led me in circles. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Don't worry about it.

The only jumper you need to worry about is the one to the left of the IDE connector marked 'CS-SL-MA'

Probably it is for factory tests. That's a logical explaination..

Leave it as it is and you won't have any problem.
