[RESOLVED] ROXIO 5.0 upgrade

Anyone upgraded to adaptic 5.0 yet. I use 4.02 version and thinking of upgrading to 5.0

Been running it for a couple weeks on my W2K machine. It's so nice to have everything working well without having to install several patches. No coasters and fast! I'm currently using a Yamaha 16X10X40. I've used most of the modules and especially like the way it handled my images from my digital camera. I was able to very quickly and easily burn a cd with a video slideshow of all my pics. The only thing I'm unhappy about is the 50% off upgrade offer they emailed me two weeks after I already bought it at a local store!! They haven't responded to the email I sent asking for some kind of rebate. Maybe I'm just going to have to buy my upgrade and sell one to a client.

I assume you are referring to GoBack? Be very careful of GoBack if you are. No where is it mentioned, except buried deep into their online knowledge base, that GoBack will crash your system if you use a boot manager! It crashed mine so bad I had to re-format my Windows partition and start over. This lack of disclosure borders on malfeasance in my opinion. I sent the product back for refund, and have yet to see any money. I wish I could "GoBack" to the point where I never heard of Roxio.
