CD not accessible

Hi,

I am also getting CD not accessible.Device not ready.
Please tell me where to start unraveling the problem.

Windrivers support page said CD should run with win95 without additional drivers.
It is Sanyo CRD-254P.

You're right, your CD drive should work fine under Win95. We have a Win95 machine here at the office with the same CD drive and it works with no problems. Does device manager report any problems with your IDE controllers? Is DMA enabled? If it is, disbale it. Have you tried simple things like running a cleaning CD in your drive?
