I didn't think you had to register with the State.
Doesn't this fall under seperate of church and state?

You can be a minister, np, but to LEGALLY carry out the duties of your office (marriages etc) in the state you live in may require more paperwork, most all do that i know of. Of course YMMV.
***EDIT*** Being a notary I have that power granted by the state of florida. I'm gonna call the county clerks office to see if you are NOT a notary what/if anything you need to do...will update this later!!!

**UPDATE**
Called a local county courts clerks office. In FL there is apparently NO other paperwork required for an ordained minister to perform a marriage, so long as the couple has a valid completed marriage cert.
