I am currently debating whether or not to have it fixed or to simply beat it into slag with a piece of spare piping to blow off steam. ------------------ In another lifetime, I USED to be known as Wayward Clam. I upgraded the rear suspension to an oil damped spring, used to be friction damped foam. Results = better shock absorption (sp?). The frame also has rear Magura Hydraulic brakes and a XT front derailluer. Like I said I worked in a bike shop, so I paid xtra attention to it, cuz that was my main bike and I didn't want it to crap out on me! http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum1/noncgi/cwmsmilies/cwm22.gif I am 6'1", with a 34" inseam, and the bike fit me like a glove! Now I have a Kestral carbon fibre bike, so I just have the Proflex frame hanging around for somebody interested. http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum1/noncgi/cwmsmilies/cwm12.gif ------------------ Go big...or go home! http://www.supagraphix.homestead.com/files/july4flag1.gif amcfreek October 17th, 2001, 09:52 AM i used to do this as a kid,, foget it now.. i live in the styx and delivering like 50 papers on the route, gave like a 2 mile total, thier was a nice block off i used to take an old 26 inch mens schwinn late 50's i think it was a phantom model with a springer front and catch some air<best part of the wroute, before their where mountain bikes i was rideing the ballon tire bikes.. ive tried moutain bikes since ive gotten older , but just putting makes me walk funny,, my back aint the same.... it must be nice to be young and not need a motor to drag youre lazy *** around, as a kid i used to destroy frames, have to get em rewelded down by the crank,, broke my collar bone catchin some air ......... must be nice now a days baloon tires mets high tech, let me know when you guys brake a few bones so i can stop envie ing generation x //joke ------------------ whhhhahahahaha and you thought i was pretending to be crazy darkblu October 17th, 2001, 10:44 AM darkblu Originally posted by amcfreek: i used to do this as a kid,, foget it now.. i live in the styx and delivering like 50 papers on the route, gave like a 2 mile total... I am honoured to have the amcfreek post in my topic.. http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum1/noncgi/cwmsmilies/cwm30.gif I do about a 30km training ride each day...and on average a 80km race every weekend! ------------------ Pöwer is nöthing withöut cöntröl...
