I have Starmedia and Hotmail accounts and I´m not very liking the tons of junk mail.
Please recommend a good free web-based e-mail with >2 mb space!!!
Thank you bros!

Sorry man but free equals spam.
You might try <a href="http://www.softhome.net" target="_blank">Softhome</a>. They offer both webmail and pop3 accounts.

I use web based remote access, i just logon to my home system through IE and check my mail and i may setup an exchange server shortly. What i would recomend is find somebody who has an ISP that offers web based mail (the cable provider around here does) and then just leech an account of that person.

I've got a Yahoo account that give 3MB of space for the last year. Have yet to get any spam in it.

I agree with jaeger; Yahoo's pretty decent. I would have heartily recommended <a href="http://www.ureach.com" target="_blank">uReach</a>, but I think that their free service now has pop-ups. I'm not 100% sure on that...

well I have my own web based email system for me. My web based system I have it strip out mame and attachments. Great for when you want to check your mail at work. I also use outlook at home to get the email I want. I could set you up with a free email account but if you wanted to get your attachments and use mame you will need to setup outlook or outlook express or your faorite email client. But if you want to check it really fast online I do have a web based client But it is restricted.

actualy, if i only want to read the e-mail(no attachments or nothing) I use the ultimate in simple and available programs, available on all Operating systems not dependant on proprietary technology.... It's Telnet!

<a href="http://www.evilemail.com/" target="_blank">Evilemail</a>
go there and sign up for any of their 70 odd domains for free email, that strips your IP addy out of the message header. I've 6 accounts across several domains, and NEVER received unsolicited email, *unless i posted my addy on a message board* they let you custom design your own spam filter, and their pop3 access is super cheap......
love 'em check it out.

If you don't mind havinf @raidersfan.net in your email, go to raiders.com, on the lower right you will see a link to free email by Loadmail...thier filters and blocked sites are pretty nice....if you go to Loadmail.com thier cheapest email is about $19.99 a month...

I use <a href="http://www.canada.com" target="_blank">www.canada.com</a> for web-based e-mail.
The only spam I get is the one I sign up for :p
I'm slightly masochistic that way

Been using
<a href="http://www.email.com/" target="_blank">Email.com</a>
for several years now.
Recently some of the services are no longer free (i.e. mail forwarding, etc) But overall it is a good service.

Hotmail, but learn to use their filters very well, tunr the junkmail protection to high and then make your own custom filters ti filter out the major spam keywords. Sorry mods but the ones in my block list are:
Sexy
Homeowners
Buy
XXX
Horny
Mortgage
Cash
Teen
etc.
Just go through your inbox when there are lots of junk mail in there and see what you have the most of.

Another vote for Yahoo! mail, but it seems they have recently revamped their privacy statement that automatically turns on a bunch of junk mail until you shut them off. Just double check your own privacy policy settings once you sign up.

When onebox decided to start charging, I thought I'd give TheFreeSite a try for basic webmail, been OK so far. It's everybody.net, no spam yet.

As of the 24th they start charging. This means that my yahoo account will now become my spam account. Everybody have a spam account? I used my spam account for signing up for crap like classmates.com or adobe registration or realaudio registration... Mine used to be on hotmail and I would get about 50 messages a day. I didn't check it often enough and they closed it.
