Just seen <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/entertainment/new_media/newsid_1936000/1936791.stm" target="_blank">THIS </a> on the BBC's website and it is backed up <a href="http://www.xbox.com/uk/news/0025.htm?det=1" target="_blank">here</a> on the official MS X-Box UK site. Looks like they are offering compensation to those who paid full price for it by offering a choice of 2 free gaes and an official controller to those who bought before April 26.

Australian link is <a href="http://www.xbox.com/au/news/0204/XboxPrice.htm" target="_blank"> Here </a>

Well, the Yeech Box launch down under was laughable. A gaggle of useless titles, a piece of overpriced, crappy hardware, and no press releases until the day before?

Yeah, went down like a sack of crap at a wedding. Good job Microsoft.

What potential can there be in a stock PC parts console. The thing is barely over 700mhz P3 with a GeForce 3.5 and a single platter 5400 RPM HDD.

The Gamecube and the PS/2 are going to be the king IMHO.

But all in all, the Nintendo is by FAR the most powerful of the bunch....it just lacks games for anyone over 10
