I have just bought myself the Ricoh, all in one DVD/Cd Writer combo and haven't had many problems until now, data cd's are fine yet audio is a problem, never had a problem until last night, using Nero 5.0 and Musicmatch for conversion but it seems there is no log file to view the error with so I don't know the cause, and surely with this new 'JUSTLINK' technology it would be fine but as always cd writers tend to be more hassle than use, well that is trying to burn at the fastest speeds.......

What problems are you having.I have a Ricoh
7040a and had problems using nero, I defraged
until the cows came home but still had different problems using nero and ez cd creator. I used norton system works to check on windows. It reports missing files ,short cuts gone etc and repairs them. Then I burn.
Norton system works has disk doctor. that is the program I use. I stay away from clean sweep as this can get you in trouble.
It can be madding. I hope this hepls you.

It seems to me if I remenber right, you can go to nero's site and download the help files which contain log files.
Again good luck
