(http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/get_doc.pl?SNI=hpcdwriter18530&LC=information_storage&Tfile=lpg40837) Basically, it says to use the default drivers in Win2000. There is also a firmware update that is required for Win2000 but the update routine does not run in Win2000...you will need to run the update on a Win9X machine first. Good Luck! DonJ Spaceman Spiff May 17th, 2001, 12:41 AM You have to go to HP's website (http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg40837.html) and buy the stupid upgrade for the Adaptec Easy CD Writer software ($9.95 + shipping). I know, I'm using an HP 9100i under W2K. Once you've upgraded the burner software, you're good to go. Of course, you could always download a free demo version of Nero 5.5 (http://www.ahead.de/en/demo.asp) and get it to work that way... :) windrivers.com
