Well the 2nd round of surgery went well today...

I had my 2nd round of right ankle and leg surgery late this morning. Two pieces of hardware removed and a new plate & screw put in. It looks as though I will finally return to work July 24th, over 4 months off. Total recovery time for the last of the three ankle fractures another 12-18 months :(. Oh well I do a pretty fair Festus limp, unfortunately it's just the way I walk (permanently severed sensory nerve in right foot due to the 3rd ankle fracture). Well the numbing meds are wearing off so I'm going to bed and prop up my leg! Night all.

I'll bet you're relieved to get back to work. I was laid up 3 mos with a back injury and became a Jerry Springer addict. Anyway, hope your recovery goes well.
