i posted a question here in the networking section an hour ago and no one has responded. I recieved 3 responses in the same time at hardforums.

I would tend to think that the nature of the forums differ in that [H]ardOCP / [H]ardForum specializes in hardware innovations and tweaking whereas WinDrivers Forums are primarily for Windows support.

Both also fall over into other categories which may not necessarily be their main point of interest, but I'm not surprised at the outcome.

BTW, the Tech-to-Tech section would be the ideal place to post "urgent" questions in these forums.

Welcome to WinDrivers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

depends if you mean "tech" or "tech oriented"

if "tech oriented"
i'd have to say

More likely just unlucky timing, you had a question regarding a particular router with vnc and said others had the same problem... The only difference is that the expertise wasn't around here just when you needed it, but was at the other forum.

Would you care to reply to your router/vnc post and explain what the problem turned out to be for other people to see?

It you wanted fast support, go pay for it. If you want something paid for by banner ads, then come here.

You get what you pay for, believe it or not.

Hardon.com may be bigger but not by much. Windrivers is in the mid-30,000's.

The fact that they have 473 active users really worries me. Those folks really do need to get out in the sun every so often.

If you want service before you can snap your fingers, the Chat room here is one of the best resources I've ever seen.
