Choose 2... mustangjenni May 7th, 2002, 05:00 PM Had to go with Jackie Chan......... Johnny Blaze May 7th, 2002, 05:07 PM You forgot Jean Claude and ..... who's that fat old guy ....oh yeah Steven Segal cc_penguin May 7th, 2002, 05:09 PM Bruce Lee, come on how can you not choose him, and Jackie Chan. One of the few that does his own stunts. There was a documentary on the other night about Jackie. He stated that he would never be in a movie that he wouldnt want to show his kids( like one with bad language, nudity, etc) He also seemed to be much of a perfectionist. He wasnt happy with a scene, and had to do it again and again, until he was absolutly happy with it. He's a great actor, that has good values.. Budd May 7th, 2002, 05:11 PM also had to go with Jackie and Bruce. i would also like to add Wesley Snipes and Mark Dacascos. everyone knows who Snipes is, and Dacascos was Mani in "Brotherhood of the Wolf" and also played Eric Draven in the "Crow" tv series. hes a bad a** Lycia May 7th, 2002, 06:47 PM Ok, of the Four Bruce is dead. Jackie Chan has so many broken Bones I doubt he'll do another Hong Kong movie...and Chuck Norris hasn't been anything in years. Jet Li is THE ONE. Besides, if all were, or are, in their prime, it would be a tie between Jet and Bruce...Jean Claude is nothing, steven Segal would get whupped by Jet, and Snipes, although he's good, he is no master...Bruce, Jet, and Jackie have all been training since they were around 6 or 7..Snipes just started learning in his late 20s early 30s... Stalemate May 7th, 2002, 07:26 PM Toss up between Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Their styles are too different (to me at least) for them to be compared. Chan gets my vote for stunts/athletics/originality, while Li would get it for style/screen presence/technique. Jackie Li? Jet Chan? :D craigmodius May 7th, 2002, 07:33 PM I have been on a Martial Arts viewing spree lately so I had to go with Jet Li. over the past month or two it's been Iron Monkey The One The Legend The Legend 2 Drunken Master Which reminds me where is Donnie Yen on your poll? :D  Lycia May 8th, 2002, 12:25 AM And where is Sammo Hung?? Or Brandon Lee? Major Kong May 8th, 2002, 12:30 AM I was going to vote for Ralph Macchio, but for some reason he was left off the list :(. GimpBizkit May 8th, 2002, 12:41 AM Went with Lee and Li. Only four choices though. What about Chow Yun-Fat? Cleetus May 8th, 2002, 09:44 AM And Iron Monkey wasn't Jet Li as well if I remember right? With the exception of the final fight, I have tried to forget that movie. Yes Jackie Chan is in Drunken Master. The other three are Jet Li. Speaking of, both Jet and Jackie are slated to do a movie together... As for Donnie Yen, he can be seen in Highlander 4...the guy that fights Duncan with a Halberd type weapon... Chow Yun-Fat is NOT a martial artist, per-se, so I don't see adding him into the mix... Brandon Lee, while dying early, I think had made just a big a mark as his father. I think if you include Bruce, then you need to include Brandon.. craigmodius May 8th, 2002, 05:02 PM
quote:
Donnie Yen is in Iron Monkey, which is why he said "which reminds me, where is Donnie Yen.."
