so far today I have taken in 6 notebooks and 8 printers, one of them a notebook and printer from the same customer...

Is it international printer and notebook repair day or something? Why wasn't I sent the damn memo?

It's illegal operation day here. The police have already hauled off 10 users from my office. Good thing for the users they weren't fatal errors instead! Tee, hee.

Yeah I get scanner weeks or printer weeks or HD weeks.....its weird...like some subliminal signal message and then everyone brings all their stuff in......

Palm pilot day here, 6 machines will either installed the software and work or install software and not work. Also the sql program that syncs with the palms is not working keep getting a activeX object error...

And so on..

Spent all day dealing with a 3 computer network for a local body shop. All I have to say is:

Took me a while to figure out that it had deleted their installation of McAfee and associated *.exe with SirC.exe on one of their machines.

3 software problems and 2 software upgrades today. Not a problem with any of the hardware. I don't care as long as there is a computer to work on because last week I only worked on 3 computers total.

well, I don't work on the printers, but we do have some one who is certified in servicing HP, Epson and lexmark Laser printers.

No notebooks or printers for me. Just the usual 1d1ots bringing faulty machines which had to be fixed yesterday.
