Desktop icon

Hi guys I deleted the desktop icon in the quick launch of win xp how do I get it back. Thanks for any advice.

Search your hard drive for the file desktop.scf and copy it to \Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch. Just replace 'user name' with your user logon name for XP.
