I have an Ensonic AudioPCI as my sound card and a 3D Blaster Riva TNT2 AGP 32mb as my Video Card.

Basicly what happens is when I have music playing (MP3s) and the video card redraws a window or almost any graphics it will make alot of static noise come out of my speakers.

The only why to stop the noise is to Mute Wave in the sound settings. But of course I no longer hear any sound at all.

If there are no MP3 files playing then I don't get any noise.

Using the DirectX test program. I get no noise on all tests except the non hardware cube drawing. The hardware excelerated cube drawing will work without noise. But if I use the Software rendered cube I get the static sound.

Off of creative labs website I have downloaded drivers for both cards.

Any help would be grate!

Is it just MP3's that give you this problem? if so, and you have a VIA chipset on your motherboard, download the VIA 4in1 Drivers from VIAHARDWARE and install them, i too have had a simular problem and this sorted it for me,

Good Luck.
