I upgraded my video card drivers, got to the blue screen of death after resarting, then i had to reinstall the missing windows components. And now all of my old user profiles for I and my family are still there but cannot be accessed. Is there a way to delete or move the contents of these users to my current user name?

I cannot delete it, it was an account from a previous windows xp installation. And since I formatted to NTFS, and made the documents and settings folder private I cant delete, modify, or even open the folder. Is there a program or other way to delete this account, or is there a way to move its contents? Is my only option formatting the HD and reinstalling?

I ran across this in windows 2000. And what I Had to do is log in with the new administrator account. and right click the folder that you can not get into and click security and delete all the users with rights to that folder and setup it backup with a new user. this will allow you to gain access to the folder. not delete the old user account.
