My links don't work

I have windows XP and when I use the windows internet explorer I click on a link and a blank page comes up. If I type in the address It will open the page fine. Any thoughts?

Try setting the IE properties back to defaults (including privacy etc) & also disable any pop-up killers, ad blockers & cookie blockers.

After some further investigation, copy & paste the following into the RUN box click OK then reboot the machine

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
