Somewhere I must have changed a setting or something did, but I can't seem to find where to change it. Everytime I open IE all I get is the header bar and I have to go up to the maximize button. I know its not a big deal but it tends to be a pain in the butt. Any ideas would be appreciated.

open IE and set it to the size you would like not useing the maximize button, just using your mouse on the out side edges. then close it and reopen it and the size should stick. do more than one instance of IE if more thatn one instance is doing that.

I think that is what you are looking for.

Open up IE maximize and immediately close.

Then reopen. It should come back to the maximized screen.

Or you can go to Tools Internet Options Programs Reset Web Settings.

That will do the trick... I think

Thanks to both Danimal and Dir that solved the problem, I knew it had to be something simple.

Thanks again

For a more permanant fix, you can also right click on the IE link, and go to properties, and find the Run box. Click on the drop-down box and click on Maximized. Note this will not work on the default IE link on the desktop, only links on the quicklaunch bar and inside the start menu.
