OS: WindowsXP Home Edition.
In the display properties, on the themes tab you have the option to save your current theme but when I have clicked on the save option and the dialog box comes up to type your file name in which I do and click save, no file appears which in turn its not saving for some reason. Any help would be very help full. Thanks. :confused:

No file appears in the folder you've used to save your theme?
I've just save a test theme successfully on WinXP Pro (using administrative rights).
Could it be your File/Folder properties are masking some types of files (system, hidden)?

I just installed XP on my notebook pc and I can save themes just like that but on my desktop pc no file appears. This is really bugging me. Can any one help? I don't want to format my PC since I haven't had to do that since Octber which is when windowsXP came out.

If yes. Setup your new theme everytime....
If no.
Save and reformat.
