Hey I thought I saw a screenshot somewhere in the forum once that showed the command line as a transparent window like you can do in Linux. Anywhere know who where or what this was and how to do it?

Thanks

It is not a feature in windows, but rather an app you launch in place of the command prompt. The one you saw was DTerm. This is the first page i found a download for it on. http://lokai.net/software.html

Mmmm, sorta but not really. I'm looking for one that is a true transparent overlay that you can see your whole desktop and in one portion of it, you have a command line not inside a window. Anyone else?

unless i am not understanding you right, Dterm will do that. you can change its appearce by right clicking if i rememeber right (can check when i get home tonight)i have mine set up so it is just the text, no box, no background. just the text over the dextop background.

is this the thread you were refering to?
