Is there any way to track the file path for inserted photos in a Word document. The Photos that have been inserted into the document were moved, and I want to find out where they should be so I can restore them. Is this possible?

Try this, you currently have the pictures in a Word document, right, ok, double click the image and it should open up into your default image editing software, at which point you can save the image in the format you wish. I just tried it (I have Word 97) and it worked. Good Luck.

Double-clicking the image doesn't work if the image was inserted as a "link". I think that's the problem. I played around with inserting images as links and could never figure out how to find the path and filename of the inserted image... http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm22.gif
