I Install Office 2000 & Windows 98 for several different customers every day, i Have A ghost image for windows 98 can i make an image for win9 & office 2k so that i have to enter the product key for office when i first run the program?
Any suggestions or solutions will be appreciated

If you wanna change the registration code you need a tweak to do it. Or u can manually do it through regedit. Anyways if u need another code get it on a crack site online but like the other guy said BE CAREFUL.

I dont suggest anything unlawful just providing knowledge!

Look at my other post!

a large customer has enough licenses; has 3 version set-up so that they can be loaded for a server, no key required; usiing the CD, reqquested to key, the drive got closed near the end of the day & I had wanted to complete the install of pro. it waited 'til the server was back up.

we imaged 2 of a 20Gb drive on p3's - all of the user info was the same.

I guess I prefer to install individual copies, even tho it takes longer.

You might try the following to rename the old Product Key and prompt your customers for a new one the first time an Office 2000 application is executed:
In Registry Editor, find the following subkey (folder):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

If you see more than one subkey that has a 32-character, select each one until you find the one whose DisplayName value matches your version of Office.

Rename the ProductID string value to OldProductID.

Start any Office program. Then when the User Information dialog box appears, type your new product CD Key.
