[RESOLVED] outlook 2k annoyance

in outlook express there is an option,. you have an open email to add the contact to addy book. you can also set it to automatically add any address that you reply to. does this option exist in outlook 2k and if it does where the hell is it,. i cant seem to find it.

Tools --> Options --> Preferences tab --> E-mail Options button --> put a check in the box next to "Automatically put people I reply to in"

Hi there here are the steps to do what you where asking about;

On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options.

Click to select Automatically put people I reply to in. If you have more than one Contacts folder available, click Folder, and then select the desired Contacts folder.

Click OK to close all dialog boxes.

Note however that this option is not available when your using Corperate/workgroup mode, only when your using Internet Mail Only (IMO) mode.

I just had a user as me the same question...

We are running in "Exchange/Corporate" mode...how can we setup users to automatically save email addresses to their contacts, when they reply to an email?
