Hi, I have a Netvista IBM computer with Win Me, 128mb of Ram and Office 2000. My wife attempted to install the Data Analysis addin to Excel. When I tried to install this feature the computer kept pointing to the D: drive. However, the CD drive is E:. I opened the latch, and the floppy drive light comes on. I even tried to do it while a floppy was in it, but it wouldn't work. Please help ASAP!
Thanks,
Mirza

I don't understand your problem.
Office 2000 looks for a data.msi file on the source cd when adding new bits. I've just run your add-in problem, and the procedure is:
Select add-in>Add
MS tells you if the feature is installed (in this case not) Do you want to install
MS gathers information
Dialogue box appears with the location of the source disk as understood by Office
Click Browse
Navigate to your cd rom drive with the Office installation disk inserted
BINGO
So, is your problem that you can't see the correct drive for the CD through the browse window? If so, that an o/s problem, not Office
