Installation Wizard

With the new installation wizard, you must register online (or by phone) before you can finish the install. How does this work if your harddrive dies and you have to reinstall? Has anyone run into this problem? http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm3.gif

Hi,

While I haven't used Office2000 yet, it was a simple routine with Office97. Just go ahead and register again...you will have to have your numbers ready. It will not cause a problem. I've had to do that with 4 different HDD's.

My versions of Office 2000 don't require me to register them. I have had them though since their release so things could have changed.

O2k changed its distribution a little after the first service pack I think. My copy asked for a key but not to register, some you have to call. I don't agree with calling in to register at all, but I like customer satisfaction!

when i reinstall I just hit exit....
