[RESOLVED] Making movies???

I need some schoolin' on movie making. I have a kensington web cam and a cool little dolphin pocket cam, but, I wanna' make movies and go to hollywood and make a milli...oh, reality check, ok.

I like digital video cameras (but don't have one), and I wan't to make some mpeg, avi's etc. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

What is your budget ?

For Example -
DVC Pro Camera - $15K (I have 3).
DVC Pro VCR - $5K to 15K (I have two).
Professional Video Edit Sweat - about 16K (again 2).

But - Fire Wire Card - 25$ including Video Editing Program.
Sony Mini DV - ~1200$
Add to this a dedicated Video HD and 256 Ram - and you got yourself a good solid Video Editing Computer.

My budget? Well, since it will be my first and I need to learn what really I want, I guess I should should get an entry level one. Say, the equivlent of a celeron vs a p4.
You know? Afetr I get it figured out, then I'll shop for the top shelp stuff.
