After installing Visual Basic 6 every first time startup of IE5.5 hangs on a blank page.
Ctrl+Alt+Del kills this problem and restart of IE 5.5 works fine.
Although it's not a crippling problem it is iritating.
Removing VB6 from one computer solved the problem but it didn't on mine.
I've re-installed IE, ran SFC and even changed video cards.
Any ideas on what I should do next?

Thanks in advance

Are you using any of the service packs (i.e. VB 6 SP4, Windows SP's)

Thanks QSECORFR

Apparently Service pack 3 solves this problem, but being a tech I didn't have the patience to wait and installed a drive image from March 9th.

But for anyone installing VB6 to see if they can learn how to program in Visual Basic, install all the service pack.

It is advised that whenever you make a system change to reinstall the current good version of your service pack.

You should be running SP5 or 6a on NT 4.0, unless a specific requirement prevents it.
